CHIMES - AHMEN joint trip heading for Honduras April 4th - 17th '10

plan to work via boats into the Mosquito area

From: lloyd mckinney <bud137@sbcglobal.net>

OK you guys here's the latest on the April trip

Dr Arnold and Bruce have purchased their tickets so the dates are now set in stone, April 5th tru April 17th. Jesus and I will be purchasing our tickets soon after the first of the year.

Here is how I would like it to work, included in this email is the flight number from Houston to San Pedro Sula. It matters not how you get to Houston but it would be of the up most importance to be on Continental flight CO762 so all of us could arrive at the same time and be in the same place to start. If that is not possible, PLEASE let us know of this as soon as possible.

When I receive your notice of a booked flight you will officially be a member of the brigade. This will entitled you to all the rights and privileges of being  a member (mostly boring emails from myself).

We are trying to keep the cost down to the same as last year $800.00 per person, some costs are bound to rise so we may have to eliminate some of the past practices. But every effort will be made to keep the regimen the same. But we may have to get creative with some arraignments.

Our itinerary is still in the process of evolving, but Ibans, Lemonalis seem to be a sure thing. The thought of Las Marias is still being discussed, and is a serious consideration, but the money thing is an unknown. If we can obtain the services of the Navy or the National Police for transportation we may be able to keep it within budget. We will have to take a group opinion after the first of the year.

We are in the process of collecting medicines and all looks well on that point, but we can always use more, so if you hear of any free donations of vitamins or other such items please do not hesitate to make suggestions.

For those of you working on the educational aspect of the trip, start working on your outlines and lets network.

So, I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and I hope to hear from all you soon..........Bud
