Container Information
and Labeling
Brent and Doris Brady, our coordinators and warehouse managers in Honduras
came to Alabama in November to attend AHMEN's Annual Meeting. They gave
a Power Point presentation about what they learned during their
first year with AHMEN and what could be done to improve how we do things.
Following is a list of suggestions and attachments are included for your
use.
1. Please keep mission dates updated on AHMEN bulletin
board.
2. Please email mission date changes and/or cancellations
of missions to the Brady's so they can allocate space in warehouse accordingly
and for planning purposes.
3. Please email a copy of all manifests to the person
at the Preloading and the loading for her to send to Sandy and the Bradys.
4. The attached MANIFEST has been prepared for your
use. It has been designed in Word and can be filled out in Word
and provides all the information that the Brady's need to take the appropriate
action. A "Sample Manifest" file is also attached for your guidance.
5. A LABEL for the boxes is also attached. It
too has been designed in Word and can be filled out in Word. It
would be helpful if the label were the same color as the team's color
code. The label attached has
a pink background. This background can be changed in Word for printing
according to the team color code. For this reason, it is advisable
to choose a single color instead of multiple colors. The label
should be taped
on at least two sides of the boxes to facilitate locating them in the
warehouse.

Since the floods late last year, the families who live
in the mountains have
enough food for one meal a day.
Let's send them some beans and rice on the March container.
Sister Eleanor says food is still one of the most important things we
could
put on the container.
