Team Splitting and Needs New Members

Team Splitting in Two, New Members Needed
The Christ Church team led by Danny/Breanda Arnold and Brianna White from last year numbered 22 folks.
That is as big as it needs to get. It is time for the team to split
As often happens, it's time for a team to split. The Christ Church team led by Danny/Breanda Arnold and Brianna White from last year numbered 22 folks.
That is as big as it needs to get. It is time for the team to split. Each time a team splits, many people feel like they are loosing a part of their family. We have found over the years, once you go with which ever team you
decide to go with, the loss is healed and "all is well".

So, here is the deal:
Christ UMC Team Aug 2008
Brianna will be leading a team to Utila on Aug 1 - 10.
205-295-9585
205-221-0101
205-282-1009
parabw@bellsouth.net

Assistant team leader: Nath T. Camp, Jr. lawyernath@yahoo.com

For more on this team, their goals, mission, and Utila contact Brianna or Nath. The tentative plan is to work the majority of the time in Utila with a brief visit to Limon for the soup kitchen, computer school, English
school, library, sewing school, and woodworking school visit.

Space is limited on this team since this is a new place for an AHMEN team to go. Brianna says the spots will be given on a first come/first serve basis with the first 15 people to send their $100 deposit. This is going to be fun and different.

So far on this team the people who have expressed interest are:
Brianna White
Nath T. Camp
Tom Camp
Sloan White
Caden Camp
Dr. Ben Copeland
Anna Guthrie
Dianne Robinson
as you can see, it's filling up fast, so let Brianna know and send her your
$100 deposit if this is the team for you.

Christ UMC Team Sept. '08

Danny Arnold/Brenda Arnold are the tentative team leaders. If they cannot go, Tom Camp/Tom Arnold will be team leaders.
Danny: hdarnold@gmail.com
Tom Camp: llamacamp@hughes.net
Dr. Tom Arnold: taspok@mindspring.com

For more on this team contact Danny or Tom Camp

The tentative plan is to go to Limon for our clinic work and spend time with the soup kitchen, computer school, English school, library, sewing school, and woodworking school visit.

In addition, we hope to hold some clinic in Ciriboya and visit the 6 libraries that are AHMEN and CHIMES and the Rotary Club international are putting in from Limon to Pueble Neuvo.

Tentative dates: Sept. 18 - 27 '08

Persons who have expressed interest are:
Dr. Tom Arnold
Danny and Brenda Arnold
Tom Camp
Hilda Ray

Some skills we are looking for are:
How to set up and manage a library
Medical personnel
teaching personnel
woodworking/mechanical skills
management skills
sewing/computer/teaching
public health
how to interact with children

We are considering spending some extra time at the Plan de Flores
Woodworking School in teaching management, maintenance, woodworking skill,
marketing, and public health.

Again, a deposit of $100 will hold your place on this team.
Both teams are going to be great, fun, good for the communities we will be
serving, and good for our relationship with God.

Take your pick while there is still time. Talk to your friends and bring
them along.

Vaya con Dios,
