Library's For Honduran Villages
Individual
churches can do a great deal of good for current and future generations
by sponsoring a library in "their" Honduran village.
Thanks to Carl Dickerson who is a member of the Rotary Club,
churches can get help in making these libraries a reality by
helping fund the projects.
Carl is a member of the Rotary Club and he can work with other local Rotary
Clubs to help secure funding. If your church is interested, please provide
him with the name and address/phone number of your local Rotary member,
he will contact that member and work to secure donations.
All that is needed is:
1 .A Rotary contact which you send to Carl
2. Total of $1000.
Get in touch with Carl and/or Dr. Tom Camp for more information.

Don't Get Left
Out in the Cold
In reviewing the dates for AHMEN teams for this year we noticed that several
teams will be passing through La Ceiba during periods where most hotels
will be fully booked if they are not already. March 16th through the 23rd
is Easter week, from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday the government shuts
down and almost the entire country takes the week off. La Ceiba is a very
popular vacation spot because of its proximity to beaches, rivers and mountains.
We understand that every hotel is already booked. Likewise in May La Ceiba
holds its annual carnival from the 17th through the 24th. This carnival
attracts people from all over Central America, and all the hotels book
up. Even if some rooms are still available, hotels normally have a three-night
minimum stay during this period. Teams coming thru La Ceiba during carnival
week may have to stay in Tela or Progreso. Please have folks take this
into consideration when making final plans.
In His Service, Brent and Doris
Busy Dates in La Ceiba - teams must make prior arrangements: March 16 -
23 if they wish to sleep in La Ceiba May 17 - 24 |

Sponsorship
Needed
Many of you know Mario Maraldo. Mario has been on multiple trips with
both AHMEN, CHIMES, PINCC, and Birthing Project. He has great dreams
for Yeimy, his daughter. If you have ever met her, she is the beautiful,
dark haired young girl that sometimes comes with Mario to the compound
when we are visiting there in La Ceiba getting ready to go out on a mission.
She is making great grades in school, but needs some financial assistance
in staying in. Read on.
If you, anyone you know, or a group might be interested or for more information
contact:
Sandy at Cruzado: Cruzadas.Sandy@gmail.com
Here is some info on Mario's daughter, Yeimy Kassandra Miralda.
They are having problems keeping the children in school because of the
finances so if you find a possibility for a sponsorship, please let us
know.
Yeimy is 12 years old and going to 7th. grade. She needs to finish her
high school. After finishing 9th. grade she would like to do her 10th-12th.
grade with a grade in hotel management and tourism.
The cost of her schooling per year is $800.00 for the year. They will
usually spend about $200.00 at the beginning of the year and then $60.00
monthly.
