Darlene Desperately Needs Our Help
Submitted by Linda Tripp
Can you imagine your 2 year old daughter (or granddaughter) in this situation: she looks about 7 months because she is so small. She can sit up, but she has never crawled, walked, or talked. She can cry, but often does not. She can hear. She can smile, but 99% of the time does not. If you sit her down in a chair or on the floor, she does not wander off. Sounds nice, that she doesn’t wander off, huh? It is not a good thing, let me tell you. Her hip isn’t right and one leg is shorter than the other. Readers, she is pitiful. Gosh, I have seen many dogs much more healthy. Her name is Darlene. And she is the product of rape by her grandfather, who is also her father. She lives in Yorito, Honduras with her grandmother. If 20 people would contribute just $10/month, we can get her evaluated so see what her future may hold. Please pray about Darlene and contact me.

Container Arrives in Honduras
This is a letter from our new Warehouse supervisor, Doris Brent, and her “assistant” Brent. Each member of the AHMEN organization breathed a sigh of relief when they agreed to take on this job. If you need to contact them, they live in Utila, Honduras: bradyhouse@verizon.net

Hello Jane:
Sandy has informed us that the AHMEN containers have arrived in country and will be delivered to the Cruzadas compound soon. Doris and I are headed to La Ceiba from Utila to be there when they arrive. As "warehouse managers" we'd like to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible and Sandy says she welcomes our help. We have a list of proposed AHMEN'S mission dates from the website and a print out for the team colors. However, not every team on the list has been assigned a color and we're not sure if this means they are not coming or will not be receiving supplies. We'd like to store the boxes by colors and arrival dates to facilitate loading at this end when the teams arrive. Not sure if we're supposed to get a list of what's being sent by each team. A list of the boxes that each team is sending will be would be very helpful. We have one from the the Guffeys, but from no one else. Don't know how things were done in the past and don't want to step on any toes, but Larry Pitts did mention that there was often confusion during the unloading and loading at the compound and we'd like to make things run smoothly for everyone concerned.
Please let us know what you think and we welcome any suggestions. Thank you
In His Name, Brent

Mobile Health Clinic
Rev. Ray Crump has access to a 73 passenger school bus, in good condition, few miles, and has storage facilities under the belly.
The question he asked me: Do we want a traveling clinic? When we passed this question on to Sister Eleanor, she just laughed. "You know Dr. Camp, sometimes you asked the silliest questions. Of course we could use it."

Now the question is: Are we willing to Put our Money where our mouth is. Brother Ray has suggested we ask each Sunday School Class if each member will put up $10. He calculates this would be a good started for a bid on the bus.Pray about this and let's give Brother Ray some feedback:
