Pastor David Ventura's Reports on Happenings in Limon.
April '08

Limon Sewing School:
New building is nearing completion. All that is needed for the ladies to
more to their new, and improved, Sewing School is doors, electricity, and
other minor details. Any group going to Limon with knowledge of electricity
or other things that need to be completed for them would be welcome to work
on this project.

Limon Feeding Kitchen for Orphans and Widows:
They have the same numbers - around 100 when you combine the orphans,
widows, and "wheel on meals" program. Feeding 5 days per week.
Problem: the price of food is sky rocketing and this has resulted in a
decrease of the "nutritional quality" of the meals. Obviously any help
would be appreciated. The program is funded at $550/month.
How to help?
1.When you are working in Limon ask Pastor David if you or some of your
team could help serve/prepare the food.
2. Take food items to Limon from USA or La Ceiba and give to Pastor David
and mark for Limon Soup Kitchen.
3. Make donations to "Limon Soup Kitchen" and send to Sandy at
Cruzado:Cruzadas.Sandy@gmail.com
When the price of food goes up, I am sometimes discouraged about the funding
of the soup kitchens, then I remember how big and powerful our God is.

Rev. David has also been praying re. a "Limon Bilingual Kindergarten". Paul
??, Educational Director of Cruzadas, will be helping him with the legal
procedures for the operations. If language, kindergartens, or educations is
" your bag" take a look at this new project when you work the Carolina Clinic
in Limon.

Finally, Pastor David Ventura wants everyone to know he feels the projects
of the various teams is having a very positive effect on the daily lives of
the people of Limon and his prayers are that the projects may take deeper
roots as time goes by.

Thank you Pastor David and the folks of Limon for all of your efforts.
Thank you supporters of the various projects.

Be sure and visit with the kids, students, teachers, sewing schools when in
the Limon area. This is a great opportunity to see the working of the town
of Limon, meet the people, and experience a part of their life.
