The statistics from your patient report forms indicate that
your Eye Team really hustled!
Your team examined 303 people for eye diseases and abnormalities,
distributed 157 pairs of reading glasses, and made
prescription eyewear for 49 patients and refracted and ordered
prescription
glasses for an additional 20 patients. This is amazing especially
since the autorefractor behaved poorly or not at all and you had
to rely on the trial lens set to obtain accurate prescriptions.
The breakdown per clinic is approximately as follows:
Olanchito: Examined 59 patients, distributed 31 readers, made
or ordered 31 pairs of prescription glasses
Dump/La Ceiba: Examined 56 patients, distributed 34 readers,
made 7 pairs of prescription glasses
San Jose: Examined 91 patients, distributed 53 readers, made
or ordered 21 pairs of prescription glasses
El Carril: Examined 97 patients, distributed 39 readers, made
or ordered 17 pairs of prescription glasses
Your team also distributed eye care hand-outs and at least
400 pairs of sunglasses for children and adults.
We stand in awe! This has got to be some sort of record.
