We arrived in Olanchito, Honduras, at about 11 PM Thursday night after a long drive through torrential rain and wind. Over half of our luggage was on the back of a truck so we had to buy a tarp. God brought us safely
through and we were very glad to see our hotel.

Friday we were at the Church in Olanchito where we treated just under 200 people. The smiles of gratitude on their faces was a tremendous blessing to each of us.

Saturday we were up early to travel to the Church in El Carril. Again, we were met with a smiling enthusiastic crowd. Dr. Katherine and her helpers saw patients, Jane, our Pharmacist, and her helpers filled prescriptions while John and Yvonne,and assistants, tested patients for eye glasses. Carol and hlepers held a Bible school for the children. Bro.Ray and the construction group did various odd jobs at the Church. It was a busy fruitful day.

Our two teenagers, Alex and Ronny, have really pitched up and helped with various tasks.

Today is Sunday and we have spent the day in San Jose which is a beautiful little village. We saw over 100 patients after attending morning Church services there.

Everyone is drinking lots of water and using insect repellent. We couldn´t function without our drivers and interpreters who have given us 110 percent.

July 29 – Services at a church in San Jose and then work in San Jose that afternoon.
July 30 – Work at the school in El Carril. (Approx. 650 kids)
July 31 – Work in San Jose at church and at school
Aug 1 – Work at school in Olanchito in morning (approx 300 kids)
Aug. 1 – Rest and recreate in La Ceiba and at Hotel La Quinta in afternoon 011-504-443-0223
Aug. 2 Work at the garbage dump
Aug. 3 Travel to San Pedro Sula, Hotel Villa Nuria 011-504-559-4801
Aug. 4 – Fly back to U.S.A.
