Update on the Woodworking School
There are four new students staying in the dorm at the Instituto. One has been sponsored by Dr. Tom and Deb Arnold (Franklin Eduvy Nunez Bautista). That means there are three new students in need of sponsorship. If interested please contact Dr. Tom Camp,llamacamp@hughes.net. Sponsorship are $55/mo and this includes food, lodging, medical and dental needs, tuition for Intituto Techino and high school, clothing and incidentals. It is an oportunity to change a young man's life. (Rick, I am sending a picture of each of them with their "live story" in snail mail).

Presently: 7 boys in "new" dorm
18 first yr. students
9 2nd yr. students
18 9-10 yr. olds
28 females in the sewing school of the Intituto
all female dorm students live in the home with Pastor Alfredo and wife Mariana

Mariana's mom Rosa Delia) has come on board as helper with the cooking for the students
she feeds 18 people/day including students, family, and teachers.

there are 3 teachers: 2 for the woodworking devision and 1 for the sewing program

The programs offered at the Instituto Tecnico de Plan de Flores include:
1. Furniture making
2. General woodworking skills
3. Wood carving
4. Sewing
5. English

Plans for the future?
An agricultural program
Soup kitchen for the orphans and widows of Plan de Flores

Construction for this year is a home for the Director (Pastor Alfredo and wife Mariana).
